Students need to pay attention to the rehearsal schedules and be at every rehearsal. There are many activities going on in the fall, including, but not limited to: band practices, Thriller, Veterans Day Concerts, Homecoming, Band FBA, Band Concerts as well as any unforeseen events. Because of this, we have to stay true to or get ahead of these schedules.
Remember that if it becomes impossible for you to be at rehearsal, you must fill out an absence notice two weeks in advance. If you are sick or for some reason suddenly cannot attend rehearsal, a phone call should be made to the director and a form should be brought in on your return. You can download one of these forms here or you can get them from your student directors or assistants. We have a unique challenge this year, since we are writing an original piece. The schedule is complete for September and November, but you will find that October is still blank- we are working on completing Act 2 and will be able to provide a completed schedule as soon as that is done. We will make sure everyone gets it far enough in advance to request off of work.
CONFLICTS: All conflicts for the entire run MUST be turned in by September 1. Any conflicts turned in after may not be excused.
